What is Sippie’s Sauce?

Born Sippie Crozier in 1888, a native of Virginia, was my grandmother and she did things her way! Sippie was an independent woman who lived Sippie's Sauce life to the fullest. She owned Hurt Young Hardware Company serving the coal miners of Western Virginia, before most women had jobs outside of the home. One of her favorite pastimes was cooking and one of her favorite recipes is SIPPIE’S SAUCE. ( Original or Spicy)

SIPPIE’S SAUCE ( Original or Spicy) is delicious with pork, chicken, beef, fish, and just about any dish you cook. So, from Sippie’s kitchen to yours, enjoy this Southern Gourmet tradition…from our family to yours with a bit of Sippie’s love.

Loved your sauce when you had a tasting at Kroger in Lynchburg. Bought it a couple of times and now I can’t find it again. Where in Lynchburg can I find it?

I met you today at Krogers in Blacksgurg. You recommended I try the sauce on salmon. You were right! My wife and I loved it! Thanks for talking me into it. Will it be available at Krogers permanently?

All the Kroger stores have it . If you can’t find it ask the manager where it is. They move it around from time to time. Let me know if you can’t still find it and we will straighten it out with the manager. Thanks again

Thanks for your inquiry. You should be able to find Sippie’s Sauce at the Timberlake, Langhorne, and Boonsboro Kroger’s stores. It’s generally not with the other
sauces, so if you don’t see it ask the meat dept. mgr. If you still don’t have any luck let me know.

THANK you for having the lady in the Brook Road (Richmond, VA) Krogers with the Sippie’s Sauce stand. I’m reading your response that all of the Kroger stores carry the sauce. I hope so. It IS great on salmon and also on pork chops. Much success to you and your family. Thanks for sharing your love!

Just discovered Sippie’s sauce at Kroger in Lynchburg on March 17th and it was DELISH! And I made the cream cheese and Sippie’s sauce dish for some friends – they all loved it! I will definitely be buying more soon…
